Designed by Sylvain Willenz for Sancal, the Body chair features a backrest inspired by the human silhouette, particularly the back and shoulders. Crafted from ash wood, its structure is formed from multiple layers of molded veneer, offering smooth, organic lines. This chair stands out as Sancal’s first non-upholstered option, yet it is available in various finishes, including a natural wood stain and an upholstered version in selected fabrics. A removable padded textile cover adds practicality. The chair's versatility is enhanced by different leg options: stackable metal, wood, or wheeled bases, with optional metal arms. The seat is slightly wider for added comfort, making it ideal for dining tables, café chairs, and conference room furniture. Its modern design and durable seating make it suitable for restaurants, coworking spaces, event venues, and educational institutions.
